The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it really is alarmed about the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The services point created for intervention experiences a higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to empower the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
